How long can I stay?

UK Nationals visiting Cyprus as a tourist can stay for up to 90 days in a 180 day period. Stays beyond 90 days will require permission from Cyprus immigration.

If you plan to visit the country for longer than 90 days or for several visits that exceed 90 days in any 180 day period, you must apply for a long-term visa by contacting the Civil Registry and Migration Department. Please click here for more information and to download forms.

Can I work in Cyprus?

If you wish to come to work in Cyprus then you must obtain a visa and the necessary work permit for your employment. Information is available from the Interior Ministry, Civil Registry and Migration Department.

Please note that UK Nationals cannot live and work in Cyprus without the necessary visa and work permit.
