We have recently come across a new investment scam targeting savers across the EU.
This scam was spotted on FACEBOOK over the weekend.
This is similar in name to a fraudulent investment program uncovered in 2022 by German and Cypriot investigators and finally dismantled with arrests in May of this year.
That scheme defrauded investors of up to €10 million. Please warn as many people as possible of this latest attempt to defraud investors.
“EUROSAFE INVESTMENT PROGRAM” – SCAM – FACEBOOK SCAM POST
“Eurosafe Investment Program” is the latest AI generated financial scam on facebook and other platforms
The video’s use AI generated EU personalities, such as Ursula von der Leyen (President of the European Union), Christine Lagarde (President of the European Bank), and Giorgia Meloni (Prime minister of Italy).
It claims that this is an EU government backed savings program that is guaranteed by the state and that the minimum contribution is just €250.There is no such savings program, THIS IS A SCAM.
If you come across this SCAM, delete it immediately. REPORT IT TO FACE BOOK and the police
The European Union and the European Investment Bank Group do not solicit investments from the general public through social media, videos, messaging apps (like WhatsApp or Telegram), or unsolicited emails.
They will never recommend or endorse specific commercial investment platforms, mobile apps, or cryptocurrency schemes to individuals.
Any advertisement, post, or video you see online that appears to show an EU or EIB official promoting a personal investment opportunity is a fabrication and a scam.
